Seven of eight state and territories working to have open borders by Christmas, the Prime Minister has confirmed.
Scott Morrison today emphasised a need for Australia's state governments to work together to deal with the ongoing economic damage of COVID-19.
Speaking after National Cabinet today, Mr Morrison implored the spirit of Australia's Federation almost 120 years ago.
"It is also the job of all of those who come together in our state parliaments, those who form governments and seek to work together in the ways that our federation intended," Mr Morrison said.
