Man who bashed and raped Polish nanny north of Brisbane jailed for 12 and a half years

A man who raped and bashed a Polish nanny in a "humiliating and degrading" random attack north of Brisbane almost five years ago has been jailed for 12 and a half years.

Travis Alexander Manwarring, 32, physically and sexually assaulted the 24-year-old woman while she was out for an evening walk in Petrie in November, 2016.
